That’s in Oregon, I’ve always meant to go hit that road. It’s just far enough away from me to be outside of impulse range but it’ll happen sooner or later.

Looks like it would definitely be worth the trip! I’ve been to northern CA several times, but I still need to make it out to Oregon & Washington...

It certainly would be, just there’s a huge playground of back roads I can get on just 10 minutes from home. 30 minutes of lovely, usually empty and cop-free back roads, mostly with no posted speed limit to get to this almost-perfect hill climb makes it difficult t0 drive an hour and a half on the highway for that, no matter how lovely it looks. Lord knows why I left that state to go to school in Pennsylvania, I can’t wait to move back permanently.

I would just love to have that in my backyard... I have to go a couple hours east to get into some really good stuff (which is really, really good - Ozarks of north Arkansas). A group of us just were out here this past weekend, and I’m going again with another group in a few weeks.

That looks pretty amazing.. Pennsylvania actually has a ton of roads that could be good, there are just way too many people, low speed limits and police. Nothing like back home where there’s a 55mph rural speed limit and twisty enough roads that you can have tons of fun without even breaking the law.

Yup - pretty much everything you see above is 55 mph and nearly vacant.
